Update on Lifeworx

The Mental Health and Recovery Board and Lifeworx! have mutually agreed to terminate their contract and funding as of April 30, 2017. Lifeworx is in the process of moving to another location. It is not clear when Lifeworx will be in a new location and offering services. If you have questions or want more information about Lifeworx, please contact the Lifeworx Director, Amy Flannigan, at 419-496-0200.

The Mental Health and Recovery Board has been working with Catholic Charities to establish a new consumer-directed peer support program, and will begin offering programming on or shortly after July 1. It will be located in this space, which was previously occupied by Lifeworx.

If you need services or support before the new program is up and running, please contact Catholic Charities at 419-289-1903.

Fredy Robles, director of Catholic Charities/Ashland would like to meet with anyone who is interested in finding out more about the new peer support program on May 15 from 12:00-2:00. It will be held in the Community Room of the Professional Building at 221 Church Street (across the hall). The meeting is also an opportunity for you and others to share ideas about what the new program should look like and what programs and services it might offer.

Lunch will be provided, so please let us know if you plan to attend.  Call Hillary Wertman at the Mental Health and Recovery Board by Friday, May 12 if you plan to attend.  Her number is 419-281-3139.

Please share this information with anyone you know who may be interested in attending this meeting.

Please feel free to contact the Mental Health and Recovery Board if you have any questions (419-281-3139).

Thank you.
