The 5th Annual Suicide Awareness & Prevention Walk will be in-person and virtual this year.
The walk begins and ends at the Ashland University Convocation Center.
This year, the Suicide Prevention and Awareness Walk will take place in person and virtually.
This year, we’re partnering with the Silent Watch taking place all day on September 26th across from Corner Park. We encourage all walk participants to consider including the Silent Watch as part of their journey. You can learn more about the Silent Watch here.
Join us for the live walk at the AU Convo from 1:30-4 PM on the day of the event.
Please follow social distancing protocols and be sensitive to other participants who are walking, running, or jogging in the event.
In case of rain, the event will take place inside the Ashland University Recreation Center, located at 1000 King Rd. in Ashland.
For those interested in participating via a virtual walk, feel free to walk, run or jog one mile independently or with friends.
This is a free event and there is no need to solicit donations. The first 200 people to register for this free event will get the choice of a t-shirt or water bottle on the day of the walk. We have a limited supply of t-shirts and sizes.
