A major key to diversion of prescription drugs is proper disposal. The Mental Health and Recovery Board purchased two prescription drug drop boxes through NADDI (National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators) and they are located at the Ashland County Sheriff's Department and Loudonville Police Department.
The safest way to dispose of medications is through the prescription drop boxes. These boxes are available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm in Ashland and Loudonville.
